Huddle House

I went into highland huddle house about 4-5 days ago or so &they were very busy tables had people at them & there was only one server and one cook. The server was very welcoming as soon as we walked in the door and told us even though they looked busy our food would be out pretty quickly & that she would be with us as soon as she could. We got served quickly and our food came out quickly i think we may have had like 8 or 9 tickets ahead of us and even the food was delicious. I have been here a couple times before and have had terrible experiences horrible food, horrible servers, hour long wait times & the place not even that busy, i was very pleased by the waitress and the cook working they made sure everyone was happy. 5 stars from me I will return again.

Rude staff. Had to find the server to ask if we seat ourselves, "yeah but you'll be waiting 25 to 35 minutes on food" and walked away without another word. That was her general attitude of how to acknowledge us throughout. Another 15 and we have a menu. A half dozen families turned around and left while we were there. Food was so cold that "melty" cheese was still solid. Server finally started to try to be friendly, but by asking my wife her nationality. Don't do that. When we finished we had to wait 25 minutes to pay to leave. Also, the coffee sucks.

The place was crowded. They only had one server and one cook. The other server had called in sick and another was not yet scheduled to come in. Yet, Carol, the server, was cheerfully serving everybody with haste while Randy, the cook, kept busy fulfilling the orders, including the call ins for carryout. These two employees did an excellent job and are to be highly appreciated, assisted, recognized and rewarded by management. They took no breaks during the entire time I was there.
