We went today with our car club. I have been coming here for years to have their great Turkey meal. Today not so great…..It was cooked in ONLY its own juice. If you ever happen to be near Pocahontas Illinois and are in search of a great place to eat I highly recommend Diamond Mineral Springs, its a little off the beaten path but worth the drive! Expect to pay between 15 - 30 dollars a plate. Down home style cooking and unlimited sides!

Apart from being a historic location, the family-style meals are fantastic. Fries fish and chicken are my favorites. And the selection of pies is quite impressive. Only reason for 4/5 is the out of place poker machines. Looses the historical impact of the place.

We were here for my daughter's rehearsal dinner. The fried chicken was delicious, the brisket was tender, and the family style sides hit the spot! A piece of foot-hi, coconut cream pie topped off one of the best meals I've had in a long time!
