Went on Thanksgiving. No one wanted to cook. Well. They cooked. A lot. Family Style. Cranberry sauce was off the chain. Perfect balance of sweet and tart. Could tell it was fresh. Hot biscuits that were obviously home made. Apple butter to put on top. Pro Tip: You will be full when they ask about dessert. Don't trust your instincts. Order the dessert to go.

We went today with our car club. I have been coming here for years to have their great Turkey meal. Today not so great…..It was cooked in ONLY its own juice. What happened to the good tasting Turkey gravy that it was suppose to be swimming in? The white thick Chicken gravy DOES NOT WORK. Hope you fix this…….hope other people complain.

Honestly, I don’t know why I haven’t heard more people talk about this restaurant. We live maybe 15 minutes away & have always said we need to try this place out. My grandma ended up gifting us a gift card here for Christmas. 😊 Their dinners are family style, so you each order your entrees & then they bring out different sides to share (green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy, cole slaw, & beets)! My boyfriend ordered the filet & I ordered the salmon, which were both great!! While we were eating, I decided to read about the history & it’s amazing! I recommend everyone that visits here to read the history section on their website. It’s so beautiful & such an amazing historical place! All the staff were really welcoming & friendly too! Thank you for the great experience! We’re headed home to eat our desserts, which I’m sure will also be amazing!
