Bara Kabab House

I ate here today for the first time and this will be the first of my many visits I’m sure. Just to start off, the owners are super friendly and polite. The food is the best middle eastern food I’ve had after trying numerous places in the 19/20 years I’ve lived in this area. The food is fresh, delicious and perfectly seasoned and I highly recommend everyone give it a try. I got the shaish Tawook which is chunks of chicken which comes with the best rice I’ve eaten with pita bread, cucumber sauce and a side salad. And I highly recommend basbousa as a dessert but I’m sure next time I try the others, they will be equally delicious. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.

I very rarely give one star reviews. But, I had to review this place. I paid $55 for 3 regular dinners and two kids meals. This was a to-go order so no drinks. The amount of meat that they give with their platters is laughable. On top of that I ordered a gyro platter and received just gyro meat that was dried out french fries which were not tasty and cut up lettuce and tomato. Needless to say not worth the money at all when you can go to other areas and get a real gyro platter. The beef shawarma was nasty beyond words. I have tried this place before and it wasn't too good probably about a year ago or so but I thought it was Under New Management and it may be. But, save your money it's not worth the time

The place was very clean and the staff was nice , however the waitress does not listen very well. My bf order the chicken kobob… when she read the order back she said beef.. He politely corrected her. I then order our daughter a cheeseburger with only Ketchup. When our food arrived, my bf was met with something that looks like it belongs in a star wars movie, and our daughters burger had all the fixings on it… well my order was correct, however very bland and tasteless. I don't think we will ever eat there again.

I tried Bara today for the first time and I will definitely be back. The service was wonderfully friendly and the food was great. I enjoyed the beef Sharma sandwich and my honey enjoyed the falafel sandwich. Both came wrapped in a delicious bread and were seasoned perfectly. I would definitely recommend Bara to anyone looking for Mediterranean food.

I’m very impressed. Called in take-out for the 2nd time tonight. The Falafel is awesome. I’ve been craving a local place to rival my favorites in Boston and L.A. and Bara Kabob definitely measures up! I’ve been excited to try it since I noticed the “coming soon” banner on my drive home. If you love Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern foods, you’ll be very happy and comfortable in the new gem!
