Golden China

Upon walking in I could not find anyone to speak to. It was dark and unwelcoming inside. Finally someone answers my call for assistance and impatiently asks if I'm ready. I set my order, pay and leave (as I don't feel welcomed here). Should have checked my order before returning to work, because this is not what I ordered. I'm already at work so I just ate what was decided for me. But kudos to her for giving me the healthier option instead of what I wanted. Food was great that is why I raised it to a 2 star ⭐⭐

If I could give 1 star I would. Walked into this very HOT establishment and could hear the lady behind the register talking very loudly. She could not even greet me...1st red flag. When I asked her what the total was (because I couldn't see it on the broken register)...2nd red flag, she decided writing it down would be better so her conversation could continue...3rd red and final flag. So you are too busy to greet me or even explain the charges (how does an item that is 5.99 become 6.93 with taxes)? But you want my money? And although I could not understand you, I know you said rude things as I left. All good. You will never get my money or anyone else I love.

They can’t get any stars from me because the experience was beyond any star. As soon as I walked in to place my order, the female at the desk gave me great attitude. She is so evil it’s ridiculous. My husband and I have experienced her nastiness on several occasions. We thought that maybe if we tried at different times that it would be different, but to no avail. We, the customers are keeping your business running and this is how you treat us? She got made at me because one order was without onions. That was a problem for her. She packed our food in the bag so that the gravy would burst out of the bowl all in the bag. I will not patronize this business again and will make sure to tell all of my coworkers and friends to never go there. I would rather pay double or travel further to get quality food and good customer Service. My shrimp fried rice was not fried. Smh 🤦‍♀️

Only gave a 1 star review because that was the lowest I could give. The food is basic Chinese food with ok taste. The real complaint is the customer service. The woman working in the front taking orders is the worst I've experienced in a long time, maybe ever. I wouldn't recommend going to this place EVER. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a bit surprised I don't see many more positive reviews on the good food. I live in the Triad and have eaten here the past 4-5 years very frequently. Always to-go dinner for family. There are no issues with the same person who answers the phone and who works the counter...guess I got used to her language and demeanor...which was never offensive. She has never came off as rude to me. The shrimp and chicken entrees are tasty and we've never gotten sick. The only thing I'd recommend for her business to potentially grow more/receive better reviews is maybe she could hire someone to take orders and work the counter.
