Country Bbq

The chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. I would have liked a little more flavor, even the skin tasted like there was no seasoning or BBQ flavor. The slaw was like pickled apple sauce. It was good but not my definition of slaw. The hush puppies were amazing! Small but plentiful. The waitress didn't bring me a ticket and the manager seemed annoyed when I approached the register. I'm not sure if he was upset but he seemed to be focusing on talking with the waitresses about an issue. My waitress did a great job and kept my drink full. Very friendly and courteous.

Country BBQ on 68 is a busy place at lunch time! Despite the hustle and bustle you can still carve out your own little world with your crew and enjoy a good meal. The wait staff was attentive despite the mass of people and food came out quickly and was delicious. They really packed that little BBQ tray full of slaw and chopped pork! Hushpuppies were perfectly cooked and not oily. Highly recommend for some great BBQ right off 68.

I heard this was the place to go for breakfast biscuits. Tried a Chicken Biscuit and a Tenderloin Biscuit. In both cases, I was pleasantly surprised by the portions. Either biscuit offered enough for two servings. Chicken was decent, a little tough, not notably tasty. Tenderloin was AMAZING, very flavorful and delicate. I strongly recommend anybody in the area check out the Tenderloin Biscuit for breakfast (maybe it will be your lunch too!)

We had a great BBQ lunch here today. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Had the Chopped Pork plate with red coleslaw, mac & cheese, and hush puppies - Everything was really good. My wife had the half smoked chicken, it had a nice smokey flavor, was tender and juicy. Zero complaints. We will return.

We’ve had plenty of items on the breakfast menu but never the BBQ. How does that even happen?! We decided to pick up BBQ, white slaw and a bottle of their sauce, on our way to New River last Friday. The meat itself is not sauced but the flavor was outstanding! It had so much flavor that we ended up saving the sauce for something else. There are other BBQ places and I’ve liked them but Country BBQ is the best! We will definitely order from them again - and next time I’ll take pictures!
