Probably one of the more underrated chain restaurants in hickory. The place is always clean, service always is courteous and friendly, food is always fresh tasting and hot. The prices are hard to beat for all you get and its actually good tasting. Never over greasy or stale tasting. Definitely a place I go when I want a quick fish meal or sandwich. Fries are actually some of the best fast food fries around.

This location is okay and the cashier was really nice. There's nobody inside the restaurant and I was the only one in line. This restaurant does not honor coupons from the ads that are out in my mailbox. This location does not honor the birthday club. Before covid-19 hit the people who came to eat at this Captain D's really looked and smelled horrible. They weren't the nicest people at times. However, the situation is different at the moment due to the circumstances.
