We stopped by here for a quick breakfast to Biltmore. Their food and service were impeccable. Everyone was friendly and nice. Their omelettes were delicious.
Our waitress Kimberly was fantastic! She recommended appetizers and meals to us. She didn't steer us wrong. Everything was delicious! It was our first time here and we will be back. The atmosphere is warm and inviting! Thank you Kimberly for making us feel welcome!
I was searching for restaurants with gluten free menu options as I recently found out that i had an intolerance to gluten. Bistro 127 had high ratings and great reviews so my husband and I decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! The restaurant itself is beautiful and comfortable and the wait staff was especially kind and accommodating. Our waitress spent a considerable amount of time explaining what menu options I had and recommended a great meal for me. There were only a handful of entrees/appetizers that could not be prepared as gluten free. Our meal was so delicious!! I was highly impressed with the service and the food. This restaurant is one of our favorites!
Our first time there and for sure not the last. The chef knows what he is doing. The food was delicious and you can really tell the fresh ingredients they used, which is half of the whole process. All flavors were combined very nicely to blend together. A large choice of drinks as well. Our waiter was nice and very knowledgeable about the food without being pushy. I don't like pushy waiters. Great place to visit and take your friends.
We were passing through and just found the place. The food was excellent and very flavorful. Ashley was our waitress and did a great job. Atmosphere was good as well. Nothing bad to say at all about the place.
I have enjoyed Bistro 127 for many years. Their ever evolving menu is a breath of fresh air for Hickory. I had a men's group meet there for over a year and the staff was always gracious and the food was excellent.
There is really no other place to get something unique for breakfast than at Bistro 127. I miss the Biscuits and gravy though..bring it back!

Saturday Breakfast. I asked what to order because the whole menu was appealing. The waitress said a regular just ordered some of menu biscuit and gravy type thing, with a side of eggs, and swore it. Good enough for me. It turned out to be a great moist yet flaky croissant. It was so good, my aunt had to order a croissant as a side after witnessing my meal. My only disappointment was that they weren't open Sunday so I could get it again the next day. The bacon was cooked but not hard, so also very agreeable.
Lovely place to dine. I love the decor! It's very rustic and just awesome.
Our waiter was very social and bursting with energy, which helped us relax. I had their Bistro Burger, which was amazing. The meat was nice and moist, the sauce was delicious, and a potato roll makes it delicious. Perhaps we should add a brioche bun and you'll have me sold for the rest of my life. Lol. We went for lunch and the prices were very reasonable. They support local farmers, so that's more motivation to dine here! I can't wait to return.
