Dairy Queen

Refuses to put sprinkles on cones, asked me to do it myself with sprinkles in a 4oz cup. Confused as to why they can’t just sprinkle them on over the garbage can.. lazy. Apparently out of pretzels but don’t mark them off of the menu.. was planning on getting a snack here to eat but ultimately decided to eat elsewhere where my options aren’t limited.

I’m used to the Dairy Queen in Grand Rapids but moved up here 2 years ago so now this Dairy Queen was my go to… I ordered a royal cheesecake blizzard and asked for extra cheesecake, they told me that extras isn’t available -in a rude tone- and that’s ok ( I didn’t mean to offend!), but when I received my blizzard I noticed I didn’t have hardly any cheesecake pieces at all, so I decided to count each one to make sure I wasn’t overthinking, i ended up counting 7 tiny pieces of cheesecake… so now I prefer the extra trip to Grand Rapids Dairy Queen after that! They allow “Extras” and always make sure every bite has yummy treats!

Growing up this was a summertime staple so it's unfortunate tonight was the last time that I will ever patronize this business.  It's a seasonal location and usually staffed with kids home for the summer; however and unfortunately this year the owners are also the workers. Ordered three items and asked for one large cup with some ice to place a smaller item in for a long drive.  Female owner hastily hands me a bag of ice and I ask if I can also have a cup.  She literally tosses the cup out the window and yells that I am holding up the drive through - I was not. I was actually waiting for my credit card to be returned to me by the very slow boy working the cash register.  I told him I was not holding up the register and the male owner literally lunged out the window verbally assaulting me.  I promptly drove to Lowes and threw the items away and have notified corporate that their franchisee thinks attempted assault is an appropriate response to a request for a cup. If you're craving DQ, go to Virginia.  It's cleaner and has better service.  Avoid this location

It's OK ! Compared to smaller Mom & Pop ice cream stands , Dairy Queen just never does it for me . Pricing vs Quality just isn't there . For as big as they are you'd think the ice cream would be better ( creamier) than the Mom & Pop places . The service is usually pretty good , unfortunately just not very impressed with DQ quality.
