My mother and I love to eat in La Carreta. We used to go basically every other day prior to the pandemic and now we order more than three times a week due to the pandemic. It is a great place and very cozy. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious. The staff goes out of its way to make you feel comfortable and accommodates your needs. I highly recommend La Carreta, especially for their Cuban food.

Long time Cuban restaurant near Miami airport. It was recommended to us by a retired flight attendant. The food was very good and plentiful. Had the Cuban sandwich. The meats were carved meats, not processed like some restaurants.
The waitress was very friendly and efficient.

This is the Second time they sent my order incomplete, when i called the restaurant the only offer was to send me what they forgot today in my next order with the restaurant “as a credit” telling me that it was a mistake from the kitchen. What makes you think l will be back as a happy customer ? Plus food is pricey and not as good as I was expecting.

That's the perfect place to choose for your lunch or dinner. Excellent choices in the menu, myself always like to order pan con Bistec or beef empanizado. But you have great options for chicken or fish. You ask to start platanos or croquetas (portions). The size of portions are enough for one person. Great choices for your dessert and finally cafe com leche, so good. Service is friendly and professional. Really attentive and willing to make suggestions. A must go.

I had been a fan of La Carreta for a very long time, unfortunately my experience at the Hialeah restaurant makes me question whether I'll ever return. The palomilla steak was on the burned side, very, very well done, hard to swallow, the tostones were very greasy and muchy, the salad was basically shredded lettuce. The server Lorena, was very professional and attentive that's the only reason for the 3 stars.

I come here, mostly, for the breakfast and it's excellent. I can't ask for more when it comes to a complete breakfast comprised of Cuban toast, eggs, bacon and potatoes for under $7. I always get my breakfast in under 10 min and the service is always friendly.

I have visited this restaurant twice and both times it has been excellent, the prices seem excellent, the waiting time is adequate, it takes just enough, it is a restaurant, not fast food, and the treatment of its employees is magnificent.

This is consistently a good place to come to for comfort Cuban food. Their daily specials are very good, specially Sunday's Tamal en Cazuela, which is worth coming here for ( huge portions). Mariquitas are a great starter to share, you get a plate full. The croquetas and stuffed plantains are delicious as well.
