Service was slow (our server was very nice and very apologetic) Took us a lot longer than usual. (Should have order from the "to go" section)The sandwiches were good. The live music was good.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant but I was blown away by the food. The portions are big, the price is cheap, and the food is DELICIOUS! I could hardly finish my food but it was so good I powered through and finished it all...go big or go home, am I right? The servers and cashiers were excellent, the atmosphere was chill, and the place was clean. 5/5 would recommend and will DEFINITIVELY come back again! 👍

What a wonderful place to grab a quick bite or have a nice sit-down meal! So many ordering options -- walk-up window, sit at the retro stainless steel counters, go through to cafeteria line, or sit in the dining room and be waited on by the exceptional wait staff.
I ordered churasco (beef) with tostones (fried, mashed plantains) and congris (Cuban black beans and rice). The "baby churasco" is the smaller size and the portions are very generous. Don't forget the mojo sauce (garlic) and chimichurri!
The walk-up window is perfect for a strong, sweet Cuban coffee and fresh bakery goodies ... Or a meal in the run.
The kitchen staff cranks out the most amazing variety. You won't be disappointed and the portions are large.
The wait staff is also great with such friendly attitudes you'll feel like family.

Great local cuban cuisine. I have been coming here the early 80’s since the club days of “The Forest Teen a disco, Strawberries and Casanovas. One of the oldest buffet style line food in Hialeah. The breakfast’s are very inexpensive in the area.

If I can put one star I would I went to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon as I've went multiple times in the past, The service was great she attended us and was very attentive the whole way through. Me and my boyfriend were just about to leave when I noticed something in the vinigar It happened to be 3 flies. We had used it on almost all the food. I then later pointed it out to the server and asked to speak to a manager. The manager comes like 30 minutes later and I say to her that there were flies in our vinigar, she said "You should of checked before eating then we could of given you , your money back" she then proceeded to give us a 15% discount. I said to her that is disrespectful to our person because we just ate all this food covered in fly guts and my boyfriend went to the bathroom and threw up like 4times that day. She then says she's not the owner of the restaurant so she cant give us free food we'd have to give her food so she can credit. So it so happened that we had food that we were going to take home I gave it back to her and she dropped the bill to half. But honestly I just wanted to pay and leave there the fastest possible I was just disgusted never going back.

This is a true gem in Hialeah. You can choose to order from the menu or dine in at the ‘canteen’ and choose from the spread of food available from the counter. I’ve tried both and the food is amazing. Portions are huge and this place never fails to satisfy my cuban food cravings. Prices are real wallet-friendly especially from the cantina. Since my husband and I discovered this place, we’ve been returning weekly. They also sell cigars, pastelitos and of course café cubano. Oh, and it’s open 24 hours.
