The quality of meat is unsurpassed by any Carniceria up here. They always have the freshest selections. The meat you buy at the counter is the same meat they serve in the restaurant which is quite nice and it saves you quite a bit of money if you take it home and cook it yourself. If you prefer they can cook it for you but it's quite a bit more :-)

The last 2 times I've gotten their shrimp cocktail I've been very disappointed, last time they didn't even put clamato in it, it was just salty clear water, luckily I had all the stuff to doctor it up to make it just ok, today, it had a " red" color to it, but very little clamato and no flavor and the veggies in it were old. They used have the best and most affordable shrimp cocktail around. But I think after 2 times I'll not go here anymore 😕

Nope, not good pepo! If this is my opportunity to complain to the Kooks, make it to the owner, then I'll take it. I was supposed to get a mini super quesadilla, but all I'm in case super quesadilla is is a quesadilla with meat. Nothing really super about it so I call it super. When I got three pieces, I had already eaten too and I realized there was no meat. I went back to talk to the Kooks and this is what they gave me. A pile of me on top of the last piece of quesadilla. I went back to talk to the person who took our order and he Shrugged his shoulders and said well it's the cooks fault. Personally, I don't care whose fault it is but if nobody wanted to take initiative and make things better, then oh well here we go. Enjoy your food everybody, and you probably will, someplace else. :-)
