As a local, we really appreciate the quality of the food and the location. The food has been quality EVERY TIME we walk here; particularly the Ahi Tuna. Definitely give it a try!

Great little spot with amazingly delicious food and good service. Had the Avocado Toast and made our own scramble and both were delish! The $10 unlimited mimosas are a great deal too! We also had the mandarine goat cheese muffin and all I can say is WOW! Definitely will be returning to this spot plus we live down the street.

If you haven't already tried it, you owe it to yourself to give this place a shot. It will quickly become a local favorite. The simple design and layout defines a local beach cafe, but the menu is so much more. Clean white and blue theme is understated and you could walk right by. The signage is right on the corner, so make it a point to take note. The location is awesome, being close to the beach and just north of Herondo. Parking is metered on the street but is normally open during the weekdays without an issue. There is outdoor seating with some shade available along the front and then there is a rear patio with a more quiet and private feeling. The rear patio has some nice touches like the vines on the walls and the tile flooring. Both outdoor spaces offer heat lamps for the ungodly cold Hermosa winters. The interior is clean and seating is comfortable with options from the bar to chairs or booth seating. As for the drinks, they offer an array of house cocktails. I took the suggestion of the staff and it was a cucumber martini. having just finished an imperial stout (Yes! breakfast in a bottle is available) I didn't have high hopes because it isn't something I would normally order, but i have to say it was pretty impressive. I believe they had a full bar. I know the beer selection was pretty nice and the wine menu was more extensive than you would think at a beach cafe. I'll come back and try the Manhattan as I heard a couple comments while I was there. Staff was pleasant and they offered suggestions. It was nice to sit and not feel rushed. I ate and drank, but was also working on the computer, so i was there a while and i never felt like i was taking up space. I tried a vegan burger and it was good. Not great, but it was good. It's clear in the menu that several of the dishes are pretty creative and interesting. I'll have to trust others to that, but the vegan menu is pretty limited. I hope this will expand some in the months to come, but at least there were some options for me. I noted that they appear good about meeting the needs for gluten free orders, so that's cool. It's nice to see this is becoming more common for those in need. For coffee lovers, this place has great coffee. They may not have all of the candied over sweetened garbage that is overtaking Starbucks, but that is a good thing. If you love the standards, this place makes a great espresso, latte, coffee etc Decor is interesting and the overall vibe is about as perfect as you could get for this neighborhood. I look forward to coming back. Almost forgot, they have bottomless mimosas!

A lovely little place in a prime part of town. The salmon, pot roast, sliders, ahi - it's just all literally amazing. I don't typically like kale (which comes with the salmon) but I could not have enough - so good. Very clean place, lots of room, and plus the $10 bottomless mimosas from 10-2p?! My girlfriends absolutely love it too. Definitely one of our new go-to spots.
