Outback Steakhouse

The food was good and portions just right but felt the prices were high. I like my ceasar salad cold this was room temperature. Service was okay. We were served fresh bread but was surprised when I seen an ant crawling. I'm sure it was on the table but still a little creeped out. Waitress just mushed it and cleaned the table off and brought fresh bread.

My steak was tasty and cooked just right although my son's steak was overcooked a couple of levels. Our waitress was very receptive to him returning it but he decided not to since it was tasty anyway. One caution is that drinks are very expensive. In general, it is a bit pricey for a chain. so coupons are welcome. All in all, a fun night. I will come back when we have coupons.

I’ve decided to rate them with a FIVE STAR thanks to the great service they’ve provided. I ordered a T-bone steak cooked medium but came out rare. How they handled this problem was just fantastic.

I admittedly had an issue with service on Mother’s Day. What would have started out as a complaint turned in to a positive 5 star review. First, it was very busy, but the food was great, and it was evident everyone was overwhelmed with the volume of orders. There were definitely some stellar moments I witnessed, from traffic control, to my order being accurate and well put together (I’m sure the cooks were busting their butts to get orders out). My issue did involve my interaction with one employee. I was perturbed enough to email my concerns. What makes my review 5 stars is how I was impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the response I received by the manager Joshua. He reached out to me promptly with an explanation and offer to make things right. More impressive is that despite emailing and receiving a response quickly, he also took the time to call later that evening. He was extremely well spoken and provided great details to the events that went down. In retrospect the event was not earth shattering, but he did a great job following up and making it known how much he wanted to make it right. I didn’t wish to complain for compensation. I know times are challenging and they were caught off guard with how busy it was. What I do care about is the way this man followed up. That speaks volumes and will keep me coming back. I hope those who oversee the Henrietta NY location know what a great leader they have in the store manager Joshua T. That’s the kind of leadership any corporation should be thrilled to have. I will be a return customer for a long time to come and will pay forward any generosity received from Josh.
