We’ve lived just down the road in Hendersonville for a little over a year but never made it to Center
Point until today. To say we’ve been missing out is an understatement! Everything from the fried green tomatoes, ham, sides and cornbread were delicious and worthy of the accolades they received from Guy when Diners Drive-ins and Dives came through. Will be back again soon!
Um, Yum!
Being DDD fans, when we found ourselves in the area, we had to stop in. Having tried a lot of BBQ, we expected tasty, but it blew us away.
The hubs had a 2 meat plate (pork and beef brisket) with the cornbread (looks like a pancake), fries, and mac n cheese. I had the little pig sampler (turkey, pork, and brisket). Sides first - the fries were perfect, the cornbread was good, just different than what we are used to, and the mac was ok (good texture, not much taste).
Onto the main part - all of the meats were great, tender, juicy, and flavorful. Sauce was not needed but did add a little something to a few bites (and there are a lot of sauce options).
I highly recommend getting the meat on its own ( no bun) and enjoying truly good bbq the way it is meant to be savored.

This is one of my GO-TO restaurants in town. I’ve never had anything that I didn’t love there! The Chicken Tenders are my favorite believe it or not. You won’t be sorry if you go there for a meal!
The fried pickles were a great way to start. I got the papa's plate - so 2 meats. The brisket was perfectly pink and tender. The minced pork was a fun change, but I imagine the pulled pork is better. My two sides were fries and potato salad. They were both great. It was a LOT of food. The service was great! Wash it all down with an Arnold Palmer and you're good to go.
The fried green tomatoes were excellent! It was a great experience. We will definitely come back again.
The staff was friendly and welcoming!
Looks can be deceiving. Hole in the wall joint but it's been around since 1965. And the food did not disappoint!! We got baby back ribs, baked beans and mayo slaw. The half rack of ribs portion was generous. The ribs were delicious with lots of meat and great sauce. Staff was hustling but attentive. Really nice people. Southern hospitality for us northern folk. Highly recommend this place.
Center Point BBQ was the perfect stop. We happened upon it and are so glad! A family feel from the moment we walked in, the food was incredible. The ribs and pit beans were our favorite- don’t miss the Red Slaw and the Potato Salad either. The pork was amazing and the chicken perfect. And we left feeling like friends with the staff. Everyone needs someone at the door greeting customers like they have there. Worth the drive from Missouri- or from Nashville! Thanks for a great experience, Center Point!
What a friendly and delicious place. The place is rustic and cool inside, very friendly staff and the food is very good. Wide variety of items. The red cabbage coleslaw is an especially delicious side. The portions are generous and delicious. Excellent BBQ sauce selection and was delighted to see molasses as a key ingredient of some
Walked on to friendly people and smiling faces. Was here for a quick bite and to knock off another DD&D place. First thing you that hit you when you get out of the car is the real smoke that fills the air. We tried the smoked bologna and the holiday ham sandwiches. First I will say that the ham is fantastic!! It's super sweet and tender. My only complaint is that is dose not belong on a sandwich or at least not a sesame seed bun. I would have just had it on a plate with the most excellent redskin potato salad I ever had from a restaurant. Scratch made makes all the difference. The smoked bologna was amazing just enough smoke for a hardy slice. Cant wait to try something else!!!
Very delicious! First time here and worth the drive! Everyone spoke, and was on top of service excellence. Turkey was moist, dirty (spicy hot) sausage dog was so tasty. We will definitely be back.
