The salsa is served hot, the chips are very thin. The $6.95 large margaritas are a treat. The prices are fair and the portions are reasonable. The beef fajitas can be a little tough and salty at times. My wife and I eat there about once per week. We have been dining there off and on for almost 15 years.

The food was good not excellent but good. To many workers standing around at check out counter. One young man was just standing there staring at people. You would think with all the people there it would not be such a mess behind the counter. If you want a quite meal this is not the place.

The food was much better this visit than the last. The service was terrible. The table behind us came in after we ordered but got their food before us. The waitress never checked on us, or the table in front of us, after receiving food. I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant that was so chinchy. We got exactly 1 napkin each. They did bring a bowl of salsa for both of us, but any refills, they charged for. There was a sign on the wall with a long policy about salsa refills. No offer for more chips, salsa, drink refills or anything else to accompany our meal.

So we just went here, and it was really good! The chips and salsa were very good, it seemed like it was homemade. The tacos and quesadillas were good and arrived quick, awesome service. 5/5 stars!

A must go place to eat. Never knew Hemphill had such an amazing Mexican restaurant. Glad I took the trip. Food and customer service was awesome. Prices very affordable!!

Food was surprisingly good! Waitstaff wasn’t very friendly but I didn’t go there to chat. Was a little disappointed they didn’t have frozen margaritas. My kids practically drank the queso even tho we typically get white queso and they only served yellow. Would def go back.
