Lennys Subs #232

A solid sub place. I went right before closing time on a Wednesday night. The staff was friendly and did well. I got a "hot" Italian. Do pay attention to how they "types" of subs are prepared. It didn't come standard with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. However it was added by the staff with no issues. They have placards that tell you how the subs are dressed, so take a second to check that out. I have a picture of it below. Clean place, worked by high-school aged kids. I got my sub on white bread, but they also had wheat, a cheddar bread, & one other type. The meats were good, but not wow, and their vegetables were fresh. 10" sub and drink for 10$.

Staff extremely Curt and welcoming. Environment was warm & comfortable. Food quality as well as taste was exceptional speed in which food was delivered to table was prompt & finally the most important in today's pandemic laden environment, cleanliness the store smelled very much sanitized, tables, & chairs, floors, even the restroom, spotless. This was an excellent overall experience. Thank you Lennie's for the destination to satisfy my hunger. ಡƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ (◠‿◕)

I ordered the Philly cheese steak 9 inch sub and a turkey club with everything on it also a 9in. Split the sandwiches and shared with my daughter we finished everything it was so delicious the bread was soft food came out 2 temperature. I enjoy Lenny's everytime I go. A little pricey, however worth it. Seems to be more fresh than your average sandwich shop.

I love this location. I was greeted promptly and the staff was wonderful. Penn and his staff always make me feel welcome when I visit their location. I always have a great experience. I really enjoy all the subs at Lenny’s, but my favorite is the Italian. If you are in the Helotes Area. Come check out Penn and his friendly staff on Bandera Road. I will definitely be back again.

I get sandwiches to go 1-2 times a week from this location and I can not say enough good things about it. The staff is so friendly and quick, I have been in right at open when I'm the only customer and when it's slammed and my food has always been ready fast and correctly. I read some other reviews and I don't understand how they are talking about the same restaurant. Almost every time I order I change things about my sandwich (including it being heated up) and they are more than accommodating. Best sandwich shop in the area hands down. They also have a card to accumulate points and get free sandwiches!

11842 Bandera Road This place location has changed. It’s rundown and NOT better and not better made. Must be new owners.... sandwich was never made correctly even though receipt was accurate.... quality worse than Subways (and I think Subway is horrible)..... but I used to love this Place. Not even going to list all the nastiness.....:::I will never eat here again not even for free...... I am convinced now to just go to HEB and buy the items to make my own Sandwiches.... especially for $23.98......and stay away from Sandwich Shops. (Not once did I see either Employee wash their hands after mopping/handling cash registers/and other cleaning.....remember the germs /chemicals go from your hands to the gloves if you don’t wash them hands first!). I did wash my hands though and my fingers still stuck to the iced tea handle..... yuck Wonder what the SA Health Department Opinion is ?? Added: Thanks for ordering me to call you at an exact time in the morning. My review was to get your attention so you would clean the place up and go back to making delicious sandwiches that I know you can do so I don’t have to drive to 1604/Bitters Lenny’s Location. I never had any problems before here at Bandera either by Walk-in or GrubHub, but it’s been 5-6 months since I visited before today..... and I was truly disappointed. Your Store made me sad, hence my time to write a review. I would much rather write a 5 star review and be happy, wouldn’t you ?? I’ll add a star because you responded in good faith. I would be most happy to delete this review if you promise to do the above.... I’m not being mean, only disappointed and just honest in my feelings like some others have already expressed on YELP !!!
