Waffle House

Line was out the door, waiting for a seat. Before church crowd. Employee came in for her shift singing. That put everyone in a good mood. It was extremely busy at this location, but watching all the employees work together like a well oiled machine...like a ballet. Food was cooked perfectly. Good southern hospitality. Gave a 25% tip.

First, I go to his Waffle House at least once a week. So I called the store multiple times and no one answered. I decided to just stop by the store and place my order in person. Upon my arrival the store was not busy, so I placed an order for two waffles and a side of bacon to go. The lady who took my order said it will only be three minutes, but I knew that really meant about 10 minutes at the most. 30 minutes later and I was still waiting. People came after me had been seated and food served, but I was still waiting for what I thought was a simple order. UNACCEPTABLE! I have worked in customer service and if you can't treat your customers like they are suppose to be treate, they will go elsewhere. This one star was definitely earned today.

I got an all star and an omelet with hash browns. It was $30. $4 for grits $2 for toast a dollar for a piece of cheese. I hate to say it but I can't afford to eat at the waffle House. The young lady that waited on me is not very professional and has some learning to do. I will go out of my way to not eat at this place anymore. I will go to the one in Pelham. The manager came over and after she figured the bill refunded me a significant amount. For some reason it seems to be a different price every time I go in there. Not a good experience. Question: why are you charging the customers a percentage for call in orders when you have to come in to order and can't call it in? I tipped a pushy little waitress about $9 for her to give me an attitude and walk off without giving me my food. The lady at the grill had to come give me my food. Unacceptable
