Overland Express

I've never eaten here before. However, I've had their chicken wings before. We stopped here just for their wings. An order of 25 Dragon Wings fed 3 of us just fine for $33 plus tip. Staff told us they were short staffed so we couldn't eat on the patio. We dined inside instead. There was a large group of children in a back area that obviously were having a blast. Kudos to staff for taking care of them, our table, and several others in a fairly timely fashion even while short staffed. These wings are easily my absolute favorite wings. Love the way they taste. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is due to the fact that two hours after eating here all three of us suffered very sudden diahrea within minutes of each other. We did not share other meals that day so we can only assume it had to be the wings we ate. That said... it's probably worth eating wings here again anyhow. LoL

Was really hoping for more this time. We have given this place a few tries, its close to where we live and the menu items sound good. But everything is lacking that little bit of love. Cheese sticks were mostly bread and the marinara consisted of onions and a bit of tomato juice. Fish seemed like anything I can get from the freezer section and fries were somehow soggy & dry at the same time. We were excited to see pilaf as part of the Chicken Cordon Bleu dish, but it had so much boullion in it I couldn't eat it. Paired with a broken hollandaise... just not worth the price. Its a great spot for some drinks and maybe some wings...but there are other places serving better food at the same, or better cost.
