Mediterranean Grill

I regret not posting this sooner, as Timothy deserves recognition. Helena is not traditionally known for its food scene. The few unique restaurants that open up tend to shutter within a year or so. This place is an exception and a bit of an institution. A bit on the expensive side for Helena but not too bad relative to most other cities. We were there for 2 hours and it felt like an hour. The experience was so enjoyable that the time flew by (though I also have my company to thank for that). We were seated quickly and greeted by Tim. His service rivaled that which I’ve received in fine dining across the country. Courses were well timed and he offered great drink pairing suggestions. Our food was excellent. The seafood pasta was the favorite at our table. We will be back!

Great food and friendly staff! They do allow reservations. We are not used to Mediterranean food but ended up loving both of our meals. The lentil soup and vegetable soup were good. The bread that comes with them was freshly made too. The gyro sandwich was really good with a fresh side salad and the Egyptian chicken sandwich was good too!

If you go to Helena and want a delicious meal and an impeccable wine list it would be a travesty not to visit the Meditarranean Grill. I came in the middle of a winter snowstorm, and wasn't immediately blown away by the setting or one of the over the top bars. Once I opened the menu and wine list I was pleasantly surprised. The owner must be a connoisseur of sorts, as the wines were extensive, and the brick oven baked pasta and Veal Romana were absolutely delicious. Being new to Helena our waitress humored our excited chatter about moving in a snowstorm, and the second we moved a plate to the side she was there to replace it. The peacefulness and relaxation with the vino was much needed at the end of the day. I could see why she said the place is much busier in the warmer summer months, but it made my night after a day of work. Thanks for the great service and attentiveness, as well as the beautiful food.

We started off with 3 sampler appetizers, which were dips & pitta bread. All very good. We also got shish kabob & steak. It did take an hour to get our food, however the samplers curbed our hunger and we also got soup & salad which helped supplement. I got the tomato basil soup which has been the BEST tomato soup I think I've ever had. And they served it was some delicious bread as well. We also had excellent service in the mean time, with friendly staff, and an attentive waitress. When the food did finally arrive it was worth the wait. My husband prefers his meat rare & it was perfectly done. By lamb was DELICIOUS. We topped it off with kunafa, my favorite dessert from overseas. It was definitely missing most of the cheese, & drowning in syrup, but the flavor and crunch was all there. Aside from the wait & dessert it would be a 5/5 place for me. Would go there again.

The Mediterranean Grill is absolutely delicious with a side of outstanding customer service! Ersun‘s chefs do an amazing job at captivating our tastebuds with the Baharat Rubbed Grilled Rib Eye Steak and Tournedos St. George, ending it with a finale of flavor, the Kunefe! Timothy had great advice on the wine list and treated us like family through our whole experience! Thank you!

This place is the best Mediterranean/Italian I've experienced in Montana. I love it and its my go to while visiting Helena. The stuffed grape leaves are as good, or better than being in Greece. Nothing on the menu is a poor choice. All is wonderful and full of flavor. The aroma of the place is intoxicating. Exceptional service and a story book type atmosphere. Like stepping out of Helena into a Mediterranean kitchen on a back street of Athens.
