Everything about this experience was great! We were greeted with a smile as we walked in. The servings are worth the price. We weren’t sure if it was an overpriced menu but it wasn’t. Our favorite was the shrimp tacos. They serve 3 giant shrimp per taco. The atmosphere is great for hanging out with friends. The place is clean and service was fast. Will definitely come back next time we visit Helen.
We were in Helen several days last week and this was one of our favorite restaurant experiences. All of the staff were working hard and efficient. Creative menu and everything we tried was well-executed, including the chicken and waffles, pizza, Pittsburgh salad and nachos. Great service checked in on us regularly even while very busy. Had to wait for a table but we were on vacation so we didn't mind. Recommend for anyone not in the mood for German food, or just looking for different options. Prices are comparable to other places in town but good value for the quality.
This place is awesome. My girls believe they have the absolute best Philly cheesesteak ever! And I can truly say that they have one of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. Their pizza is pretty tasty too.

I have never received more fries with a burger in my life. And they were waffle fries! Bigg Daddy's, although not a German restaurant like the more touristy places in Helen, is a great option for anyone looking to eat where the locals like to go. We went on a rainy Thursday night in the off season, and it was still bustling. There was even live music! The guy playing acoustic guitar and singing was fantastic. He had a great voice and could play the riffs in the songs like a pro. I ordered the Towanda Burger and did not regret it one bit. Goat cheese should come standard on all burgers. Congress, if you're reading my review (and why wouldn't you?), please make that a law. My wife ordered the fish and chips, and wouldn't you know it, that was delicious (and huge) too.
Long story short, if you're looking for a lively and friendly place to have a delicious dinner in Helen but with less of a touristy feel, go where the locals go. Get yourself to Bigg Daddy's.
Oh and 2 entrees and 3 draft beers was only around $50!
Hands down the best burger I have ever eaten in my life. If you like spicy, then be sure to order the "Pedro". It's a giant patty cooked to perfection, topped with grilled jalepenos, smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese and the most wonderful raspberry jalepeno sauce. I could literally eat that stuff with a spoon it was so good. The service was good, our server was very attentive. Be ready for a customer service show as all staff shared the same dialect, tone of voice and vocabulary. Would definitely get this burger again.
Stopped in here for dinner and boy was it busy, can't blame them thought. Cute town to visit for the holidays and people wanted to get out and about.
Space inside the restaurant was pretty cramped. Space between the tables and the bar only allowed for one person to pass through at a time. Out door seating was heated which was really nice.
The food was good. Fish and chips were large portions but the chips were soggy and cold. The raspberry jabanero wings were packed with flavor, would definitely recommend those.
Not a bad place to grab a bite if you're in the area.
