Stopped in at this fine Saloon off the road to enjoy a delicious beer and dinner. Highly recommend the broast chicken lightly breaded, super tender and juicy. Bartenders and locals very welcoming and friendly.

Great atmosphere with all the ceiling decorated with old tools, outdoor sporting goods and animal mounts. Very rustic like.
Service was excellent for the having minimal staff. We had some appetizers that were typical bar food and bloody marrys. After stopping in off the local ATV /mountain biking trails. Prices were average.

Rocky, the bartender/server was friendly and made us feel very welcome.
I had the Canadian walleye sandwich which was very good and my wife enjoyed the grilled chicken salad which was also very good.
We got there at 8:00 p.m. and they were still serving food!
We will definitely be back when visiting the Hayward area in the future.

Very cool building, unique artifacts and antiques inside. Bartender/server Rob was very friendly and entertaining. We ordered the fish sandwich and Shore lunch which were both excellent. The homemade bloody Mary mix was delicious as well. We've heard rave reviews about the homemade pizza and burgers, will try next time. Worth the trip over.

Atmosphere was cool with all the cool old stuff on the walls and ceiling. Bloody Mary was OK not the best. Server was trying but lacking good service. Wings (8) for $13 would pass. vinager based sause not very hot. Walleye sandwich was good but wrong bun for it. Fries were awesome but tater kegs were meh.

Absolutely love it. Great live music on Wednesday and Saturday nights - outdoors and made safe with social distancing and masks worn by servers. Same inside. Table service has been modified/suspended to a degree due to the virus. But ordering of food (omg - the prime rib on Saturday nights and the pizza we're out of this world) and drinks can be done at the bar. The proprietor is lovely and lively, as are her team of bartenders and cooks.

Food was very good. Had their fish fry. Service was a little slow but, they had a lot of people there and still short of help.
