Wonderful food and great options for both vegetarians, and meat eaters.
Went here for lunch. Foods were delicious. Customer services was outstanding. Even there was only one waiter. He was amazing.
Really good dim sum spot. A friend ordered Peking pork ( never even heard of it ), and it was tasty. XLB dumplings good too.
This is my second time coming here for lunch. There is more people this time around. As standard, you check off the menu on food you plan to order and they punch in the order and bring to you as the kitchen dishes out. The while checking our order, the waiter told us of the special for lunch, fish two ways. First way was porridge and the second was with rice stick noodles. Intrigued, we order that on top of the already way to big lunch.
The special was very much worth it. Fish was tender, porridge rice was completely broken down. The rice stick noodle was done in stir fry way and was amazing!
The standard Shu mai (燒賣), shrimp dumpling (蝦餃), amd rice noodle roll with shrimp (腸粉) are my family go to. And this place makes them beautifully!
During the covid-19 pandemic, we’ve been very cautious about which restaurants to order from. We picked up our dinner from Tin’s Teapot Bistro and were very thankful for these hygienic practices:
- minimization of touching: instead of customers sharing the same menu, customers were provided individual disposable menus to check box their preferred dishes
- all employees wore masks and gloves
- all customers and delivery staff were required to stay a safe social distance while waiting for their orders and had to be wearing masks
- a bottle of hand sanitizer was at the front door for free usage
The manager was in the restaurant and personally greeted each customer and delivery person with warm eyes (I could tell that he was smiling even with his mask on). Business was really good. Within 10 minutes, we saw two delivery people getting bulk orders and 5 other people picking up their own takeout.
The drive home was about 30 minutes but most of the food was still warm.
We loved the beef fried noodles, pepper shrimp, mango pudding, and egg tarts.
