This place is pretty bad. They of course have the obligatory Indian only employees, that listen to terrible music loudly. They place is pretty filthy, they got lots of pan handlers. The slurpee machine is always broken. They don't have correct prices displayed. Merchandise is all low quality mostly on things like ice cream and phone accessories etc. They do have hot food: but I've gotten items partially frozen or items that are cold still. Freezer burn on the frozen items due to lack of turnover and high prices. The only real reason to go here is if am/pm or Rotten Robbie's is closed. The place serves it's function: for crackheads to get their beer and cigs but even they probably don't like the atmosphere. The place doesn't even have a good layout for kids to shoplift from.

It's better than before. With a change in staff it's a little better. In the past I have had trouble with bills that have words written on them. They would refuse to take the money. People write and/or stamp stuff on bills all the time and they get passed from one person to another. As long as the bill is real and can be recognized it is legal and valid to use. If the store gets a heavily written on bill they just have to send it to the bank and it will get removed from circulation but to put up a nasty stink at the counter and leave other customers thinking you are trying to passed a fake bill at the register is very poor. One employee would stand there with a magnifying glass looking for any writing no matter how small and refuse to accept the bill as payment. They need to learn the law on this issue. Money gets washed and if it does not come clean it gets destroyed and fresh new bill's get issued. The bank still counts the value of the money so you don't lose anything. The person handing you the bill is not the one that wrote on it. Many times the bank employees will mark the amount on a stack of bills or even use those counterfeit markers on bills but this stores former employee would reject everything that is marked. HOW F_ _ _KING STUPID CAN YOU BE. Everyone should write on their bills although it is illegal and if they refuse to accept them then they lose money. A mildly forced boycott else learn to deal with valid legal money that someone may have written on.

Some of the staff is friendly but otherwise extremely rude and act like they don't want to be there, it's extremely expensive then other 7/11 that I've been to and don't have a big selection

Stopped by to get some cold medicine around midnight. Very old location. Was not appealing. They did have 7-Eleven tv though. Employee Dar was in full effect. While I was walking to the counter, a pregnant woman from the neighborhood who drove up in a conversion van, ran to get infront of me to pay for her tall can of Coors Light. This a blue collar neighborhood. Gritty suburbia. Blue collar folk & hood ratz. I seen 9 20 somethings come in one night. If your in your 20's, Wtf are u doing rolling 9 deep? Your not a team. The owners are not going to renovate this place BUT it does sit in the flight path of Oakland International. a few weeks later I came back and got a big gulp. As I swiped my card, I was notified of a decaying, curling strip of paper, taped to the card reading device, that said I had to purchase over $2 to use my atm/credit card. I told the cashier I had no money & he slid the big gulp and straw away from me. DICK. They would rather waste it than give it for free, or say YOU OWE ME NEXT TIME BOSS.

Very poor performance, those guys wearing a turban are very rude and a lady look russian to me also rude, I’ve like to come to the store but whenever I saw this people it made me change my mind, rather go to gasoline station next to 7-11 to get my red bull or power drinks and sandwich
