OMG, what a find as I am from Chicago and have not been able to find good Chicago style hotdogs since I relocated to bay area. Well, now I know where to find them....at Caspers! Wow, steamed buns, only mustard, no ketchup relish, onions & tomatoes! The only difference...in Chicago we use poppyseed buns, and include a cucumber slice on top with a little celery salt! Loved Caspers and will definitely be a regular!

I was born and raised in Oakland I've eaten Casper's Hot dogs for over 40 years one of the best hot dogs on this Earth. But can someone please tell me why every time I go to the Casper's Hot dogs on foothill between the hours of 8:00 and 8:30 the doors are locked stays right on their website close at 9:00. These ladies always have some excuse we're out of buns they have buns right there in their hands pure laziness worst work ethnics I've seen in a long time.

Caspers is a bay area kids childhood wrapped in a bun. With Caspers, you know what you're getting. A delicious special blend dog, fresh tomatoes, onions with the classic mustard and relish. They have ketchup and mayo if you're a weirdo too. The ladies inside have been the same ladies since I was a kid and the take pride in crafting every dog. I live 10 hours away and find a way to have a Caspers dog ....or seven...every year!

Casper's Hot dogs... When you order your dog and you're watching them make it, it doesn't seem like anything special.... Tell you take that first bite,to this day I can't understand why it's the best hot dog I've ever eaten... Whatever their secret is... It works!!

Can't rate the place bad experience for first time visitors. Was charged $181.18cent for 2 chili cheese dogs. Spent time with bank removing charges. Chili dog was cold after working with bank.

Wow... Finally a hot dog place where you get great dogs (I like the Polish dog but the chili dogs are good too... Don't forget to bring your antacids cause you'll want to eat two) good milk shakes and friendly gals to laugh with in a CLEAN ENVIRONMENT to eat in. Congrats to Casper's.
