We ordered nachos and had chips and salsa. The flavor and freshness want really there and our nachos were over cooked. The coffee was very weak, I added 2 creams and it tasted like straight milk. Atmosphere was nice. Waitress was friendly.

Very good food and choices. The Avacodo sauce is very good as is the Sour cream sauce. Very friendly and great service.

They had a pork chop special for $8.99, which had two huge fried pork chops, 2 sides, and roll. Plus they give you complimentary chips and salsa too. Best salsa I have eaten other than my own homemade. The service was great. Large variety of items on menu. Restroom available. Parking on street, and in back.

Richie's is a great diner. You always know what you're going to get. It's consistent, the staff is great and they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are so blessed to have Richie's in our community. It's a family-friendly place and it's always giving back to the community. We love them!

When I am near Hawkins, I always have to stop at Richie's Grill and Cafe. It appears that there had been a few "updates" inside since I was there some time ago.
As always, you are served complimentary chips and salsa.....salsa is good; chips nothing special.
Menu has many varied choices...everything I have ever eaten has been great. However, I already knew before I stopped, that my decision would be a choice between chicken fried steak or hamburger and fries!
The hamburger decision won.....and was delicious!
I couldn't eat all of it, and a couple of hours later was really wishing I had taken the rest of it with me, along with a slice of their delicious homemade pies!
My server was very nice and friendly.
As with each time I am there, it is very nice to spend time reflecting of memories from long ago when this area was formerly know as "Petty's Cafe".
I also still enjoy seeing and hearing the trains across the highway still rolling down the tracks...and seeing how children still get excited over this....something that so many people take for granted.

I tried to call this restaurant this morning to find out some information I’m new here and they don’t answer their phone for anything in the world so I gave it a one star because you would think they would have someone to answer the phones and her as well as stay in there and you know sick people when they come in and take their money when they pay they sure have some on there for that well riches won’t be seeing myself there next time have someone that answers your telephones are you gonna keep on losing customers!

Sadly Richies suffered a total loss from a fire recently. We understand their plan is to rebuild and reopen and hope that happens as soon as possible.
Had the old fashioned burger and onion rings. Everything was fresh and crisp and the burger was cooked to perfection. Love that char-broiled flavor that reminds me of eating at a cookout. The onion rings were sweet and well made. Service was nice and homey, just as you would expect from a small town establishment. Give the Hawkins Richie's a try if you are in the area.

I'd heard it was very good, not what I had for breakfast. I ordered standard, eggs, bacon, hash browns and gravy. Hash browns taste like dyhryated, may be wrong. Gravy tasted canned. Most likely not return, staff friendly and good service.
