Sampan Inn

I ordered chicken chow mein. It was my first time ordering this dish. My understanding is it was noodles with veggies, similar to Lo mein, but differ t methods of preparation. This is what I got. Raw white onions stirred together with shreds of chicken. It wasnt that I didn’t get what I expected, I just couldn’t eat it. It was terrible. Onions very bitter and raw. I called them to ask if it was correct and they said yes. It went straight to trash.

Food was the greasiest I’ve ever had for Chinese takeout. Every piece of chicken was also chewy. All in all, while I try to give second chances, I won’t be ordering from here again…especially with a total for three meals @$80 after tax and delivery, and 2/3 of it went in the trash because we didn’t like it.

Always liked this place however, my last two deliveries were far below par. The first order, General Tao’s Chicken. The broccoli was cold, as if it was depending on the hot chicken to cook it. The white rice was probably sitting in the container all day. Ok no one is perfect. My last delivery, Pork Lo Mein and BBQ Spare ribs (waited all day for these). LoMein, lukewarm the ribs were like shoe leather and the BBQ Sauce, well there was none. Needless to say, I called, they offered a credit. I declined and will not be back.
