Olivia's

We had our family Mercy Meal at Olivia's and everything was top notch. The wait staff, atmosphere, food and drinks were perfect. We had a choice between baked haddock, chicken Parmesan or steak tips. We were served warm rolls with dipping oil, a giant salad and the entrees were fresh and delicious ( also generous portions). If you are looking for an establishment to have a mercy meal, or you are looking for a place to have a delicious dinner, consider this lovely restaurant!

Went for my birthday dinner recently and boy what a disappointment! As soon as I was seated I needed to ask for napkins to wipe the cobwebs from the window and the wall next to me. The curtains were gross and look like they haven’t been cleaned ever!! The food all tasted pre made and microwaved. I sent my whole plate back it was that bad. The only good thing I can say is they were nice enough to take my dinner off the bill. My teenage daughter and her friend both agreed their plates were awful but felt too bad to say anything. That will be last time I ever go there. If anything, get staff to clean the place up. It’s filthy!

Four of us had the pleasure of eating at Olivia's last Saturday night. We were lucky to get Amanda for our waitress. She was attentive without hovering and eager to please us. My meal was misread in the kitchen, and to correct the problem, Amanda let me keep the meal and packed it to go. Amanda then brought out the meal I ordered. Generous and thoughtful. Everyone loved their meals, perfectly prepared and delicious. Service was terrific, cocktails were yummy and the prices were more than fair. Don't forget to ask for Amanda!

While it's been a while since I last visited, as 2020 approaches, I was disappointed that there were no vegetarian/plant-based/vegan options on the menu. Sure, the kitchen might be prepared to make modifications to accommodate the vegetarian palate, but wouldn't it be better to be able to offer a couple of well thought out options?

Usually we go to Krueger’s Flatbread next door (love their pizza) but wanted to give Olivia’s a shot as we were curious. I got the shrimp scampi (it had dark sauce) and it was not good at all. The sauce was almost sour and bitter so unfortunately I had to send it back. I got the seafood casserole as a backup and that one wasn’t too bad. It had scallops, shrimp, and haddock. Wasn’t a fan of scallops, but shrimp and haddock yes. My wine was served warm, not chilled. My partner got the steak tips, and while he enjoyed them at the time, his stomach didn’t agree with him and he spent most of the day in the restroom.. The steak was the only thing he had. Our waitress was nice and the rolls were excellent. Unfortunately, though, I think we’ll be sticking to Krueger’s from now on.
