Super small Mexican joint in Haughton, LA. Fast and friendly service. The salsa is excellent. The cilantro is a nice variation to what I’m used to when eating salsa. The chips need work though. Need more thickness and crunch. Plenty of variety to choose from the menu. The prices I thought were a bit steep considering what you’ll getting. Nonetheless the food was good and I’ll be coming back more for the chips and salsa more than anything. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs

Good place for a family meal. Quick seating, great service, salsa is very good and on the spicy side. Kids love the burgers, they have a wide selection of combos. Prices are pretty decent.

Pepe's always has easy parking. I'm always welcomed and thanked for coming. The food is always good and the prices are reasonable.

This place is amazing. I wasn't dipping my chips in the salsa ... I was literally drinking the salsa. So good. So spicy. So glorious. So .... SALSY. IT WAS REALLY GOOD. It's been 3 hours and my tummy still hurts from all the chips and salsa I ate.

Great restaurant tucked away off the road. Service was very fast. Seriously, we had our food in under 5 minutes after ordering, despite the decent crowd inside. The chips were very fresh and slightly thinner, which I like. The salsa had a pleasant kick to it but not so much that my young kid would not eat it. Definitely recommend.

My go-to order at Pepe's is the Tamale Plate. The pork tamales with the rice and beans have just the flavor you want in a good Tex-Mex meal. The salsa at Pepe's is the best around! Just the right amount of cilantro and heat. It is definitely hot, but not painfully so.
