I had the burnt ends and smoked wings for appetizer. They were both delicious. All the sauces were excellent. The best thing was the service. We were up there yesterday afternoon. I had a make server don't remember his name but he didn't a great job. Very attentive, never had to wait for anything and friendly. Clearly knew his job.

Dining here is definitely worth repeating. Everything was delicious and the selection looked very good. My only complaint is that the food was slow to arrive but the quality made up for that. The staff was very friendly and the patio is dog friendly as well.

Amazing food and great service. I had the pick three meal. I chose the garlic parmesean wings, sausage and the slices brisket. Everything was incredible. The sausage was a little salty but still tasty. I would highly recommend Murky Waters.

We really liked this place. Wonderful and friendly people. Our waiter was awesome. I wish I got her name. I would definitely give her a shout out. It didn't take long to get our food. Which long waiting times at a BBQ joint is expected. At least at every BBQ joint I've eaten at. Which I'm okay with that. if the food is good. And the food was great. I wished I would've made a double order on the brisket SAMMITCH though. My only problem and it was a minimal problem was the ribs I had were a little dry. The homemade BBQ sauces cured that problem. Everything else was phenomenal. I could've married the Coleslaw it was so good. I don't even like coleslaw. The portions are more than enough. I was able to make three meals out of my order. I don't see how my son ate most of his meal in one sitting. Anyway I recommend giving these folks a try.

Driving home from North Carolina to New Orleans with BBQ cravings. Searched and found Murky Waters. My wife and I were very satisfied. Neat location in a renovated house. Lots of interesting blues art and photos on the walls. Very good food and friendly service. An interesting well stocked bar. If you are in town or on the highway this place is worth a stop

The food is amazing, the service is disappointing. The past 4 times I have been there, I have waited almost an hour every time for our food. We had to change it to take out. The waitress never came to check on us or inform us that they may be running behind in the kitchen. We only saw her once for our drink/food order. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt due to COVID and being a pandemic and because the food is just that good. Its getting hard to be patient. I would suggest ordering take out. Overall the food is a 5 star, the service, 2 star.

Had the two meat combo of Sausage and Sliced Brisket. Portions were very small, dry, and slow to come out. Taste was decent with sauce to wet the meat. Sides were very good and decent sized. Servers were polite and not too busy. Decent meal, but overpriced for what I got compared to back home in Texas.

Such a cool place, chill vibe, friendly staff. The food was on point! Their sides were huge! We had brisket and pulled chicken…so good. Mixed the vinegar + sweet sauce, yum. My husband ordered a bloody derby and he said it was amazing, might have had another to be sure. 😉
