The food average....but your going there for the experience as much as the food.. and they do put on a good show for you....id go back
I would rate My. Fuji a 5 Star place because the food is AMAZING! But the wait is in the hours betweem 10-20 minutes. Don't leave the place just because of that. The chefs entertain you very well. Kids love it and adults too. I think the coolest part is that you have a great veiw. You are so high up on a mountin. Also, I love to drive up all the way to Mt. Fuji because it feels like you are in a jungle. You can go to Mt. Fuji for brunch.
6 Stars!. I absolutley LOVE Mt. Fuji! i go there on all special ocassions! It is so good. Mt. Fuji is always a long wait (dont be suprised). But it is like that because eveyone goes there for the awesome food! But when you wait, it is not so bad. You go into this room and you order a drink at the bar. There is probably about over 80 chairs in the waiting room. But it is great to sit back and relax and just wait for your food. And on nights (VERY LATE) the dance floor opens up. (The dance floor is inside the waiting room). But if kids go there with their parents, they are more then welcome to go on the dance floor no matter what! But the lights arent lit up or anything. Ok anyway, if you live in Oakland, New Jersey the drive there is probably about 25-30 mintues. If you live in Wayne, New Jersey the drive is probably 35 mintues. But if you live in Franklin Lakes, the drive is 20 minutes. I live in Oakland New Jersey and I have to drive 25-30 (as shown below)
Enjoyable and delicious. This is a great Japanese Steakhouse. My favorite part about this restaurant is that the atmosphere is unique to the restaurant, unlike similar restaurants that are part of chains that have a generic decor and quality of food. When you sit at the hibachi table, you are immediately greeted by a server who is always pleasant and easy to deal with. When you order a hibachi meal, the soup, fried rice, and noodles are included as is their hot buffet and salad bar for some appetizers. Their hot buffet always has great options and the best vegetable tempura I have ever had.
Everything they make is great but the main reason I go here is for their Sukiyaki steak, something that Arirang does not offer. It is always cooked to perfection. It is smaller than some other hibachi restaurants I have been to but it is not uncomfortable. One of my overall favorite restaurants. I recommended this to anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine.
