Came back again. I wanted asado de puerco. Now really T.G. seriously, who told you asado de puerco is pulled pork? Yes, it is the same pork, but seriously, the way it is prepared, it was disappointing, and i was shook. This was made like that. You all get your cooks set straight. This is an old mexi dish, man. Come on now. Do your homework if it was to be shredded, then label it or put "our version way shreaded pull pork asado de puerco." Then, to top it off, our servere was the worst, and we honestly waited 45 Min to get our food. And yet incomplete. Still waited for another dish pending Sheesh! And what's up with your complimentary salsa still in a small child's play dish??? If your wanting to save on this then ask the guest would you like salsa then pour into a reasonable size dish otherwise this is so silly and ridiculous I called you out on the last review on this issue.

Breakfast is pretty good. Pancakes are good, I'm not much of a menudo person but their pozole is bomb😋 they only have it fri-sun ***************************** I've been here many times, love their botana, fajita & brisket...those are usually our go to's but i wanted to try their chicken fried steak that was on the lunch special... 10 out of 10 DO NOT I repeat DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!! The batter was not crispy, but it was very very salty along with the gravy, the potatoes were not mashed potatoes they looked like they were just smashed yellow potatoes that were super salty as well. I only tasted the food and could not eat it. I ended up only eating the steamed veggies. I was so disappointed and it cost 10.99 plus tax. Also FYI they recently changed the prices on the Arnold Palmer there's no refill so it's 4.99 per cup. Other than that it's pretty good.

The food was amazing as usual but what I really want to highlight is the workers. I went with my husband and 3 daughters to have dinner and my youngest (9months) started crying. I left to my vehicle while my husband and daughters finished their meals and paid. My husband unknowingly forgot my purse that was hanging on my chair and I completely forgot about it since I had a crying baby. I called the next day around 12 ( I finally realized I forgot it) and surprisingly they had it!! I quickly went to go pick it up and everything was there. I even had an envelope with cash and not $1 was missing. I really want everyone to know how amazing these workers are, at a time like this where they could've just taken what they wanted and stated they didn't have a purse, they didn't. I'll definitely be dining there more often.

One of my top favorite restaurants in Harlingen! They have daily dinner specials and a wide assortment of house favorites that is sure to satisfy yourself or your party. Their fajitas, brisket, and carne guisada are a must to try out. (My favorite is the Party Plate, carne guisada and brisket sampler with rice and charro beans!)

Great food. Our waitress was fantastic. She checked on us multiple times always with a smile. Their Mexican street tacos are one of the BEST that I have had in the valley. Will definitely be back. The only drawback for me was that the place was noisy, but I guess because it was packed with customers who know where to get a delicious meal and a great price.
