I love Connie’s breakfast sandwiches and burrito’s plus they have the best chef salads in town!
What an amazing little bakery, where the staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I spied a little artwork on that wall with this so very true quote, "meals & memories are made here." A friend turned me on to this place, retelling me her first time in Connie's original kitchen before we got to Hardwick at least 5 times before. I had to visit and CK delivered. This is my 3rd time here this week. Today, I had a delicious, roast beef, chedder, garlic avocado spread on oatmeal molasses toast dubbed the "Green Donkey". the spread was nice and creamy and not to overwhelming with the garlic. Visitors may argue that the meal price might be a little high but when you factor in the homemade touch that it took to pull together such yumminess, you have to stop and say, it was well worth it. Absolutely perfect. This is exactly the kind of place you hope for when visiting Vermont. A true mom-and-pop classic diner. The staff was so nice and friendly. And the food was absolutely spectacular. Their homemade bread was soft and delicious; buttermilk pancakes to die for; french toast bacon sandwich and omelet were so rich and flavorful, and their chocolate chip whoopie pie ... heavenly! Would absolutely recommend to everyone.

Beautiful little family-friendly shop! I stopped in for some bread but was taken in by the baked goods and the breakfast menu. They have a full hot grill in the back so I got the breakfast burrito which was excellent and perfect for me to eat in the car. Everything was baked fresh that morning so I also got their oatmeal raisin cookies (which were the best I have EVER had) and their raspberry filled cookies which were new to me but also fantastic.The staff was really friendly and parking was a breeze as well. I would definitely recommend this for a quick stop for coffee and a snack, breakfast, or even a nice little lunch. Fantastic little shop!
Fantastic little breakfast spot in the middle of Hardwick. I had the breakfast burrito with a warmed up blueberry muffin and maple syrup, which I can only describe as perfection. Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Not to mention it was a great price too!
While you're there, pick up some of their jars of honey for the road home. You won't be disappointed

What a wonderful experience! A quaint little eatery in a quaint little hamlet. Friendly and talented staff.The eggs were perfectly scrambled, the large, meaty bacon strips were perfectly cooked. Thick slices of homemade bread were toasted to perfection, slathered in butter and accompanied by a rich raspberry jam. Notice a theme? Connie's Kitchen is perfection!

Excellent home style simple & delicious food. Love the breakfast sandwiches on homemade Portuguese roll. Yummy fresh donuts. Great sandwich choices for lunch on freshly baked bread (also offer wraps). Portions are very generous. Cozy spot & easy access.
Tasty breakfast or lunch or sweets - basically, it's all good! If you love old-fashioned donuts, get there early for their homemade ones either plain or cinnamon sugar. Chocolate whoopie pies are also amazing!
Ate breakfast here on a Saturday. Fast service. Lots of locals eating here. The scrambled & over-easy egg dishes were excellent. The toast is home-made & thick. Highly recommend this place.
Adorable mom and pop donut shop! I was referred here after visiting Laggis Brothers Dairy Farm and I am sooooooo happy I was! Old fashioned donuts are rare in the south so this was a special treat before my flight back home. The owners were kind enough to break the packaging and give me one of each donut for the road. Should I ever return to this area of Vermont I will definitely be back!
