Love It. We drive to Hardin just to eat at Mel's. The best fish, brisket and homemade pies! Eat your coconut cream pie before your meal, because you can at Mel's!

Great Smoked Brisket. That is not the only great thing they have on the menu but it is one of their best. They offer a thick sliced smoked pork steak, fried chicken, smoked chicken, fried fish, pizza, along with many other food items. The have a wonderful supply of great pies suggest the rock slide if you have room left after a great meal. They also offer a great breakfast with plate size pancakes and waffles.
