Smoked

This joint was okay. The girl at the counter had 0 personality. I asked for a menu and she pointed to one right there in front of me. Okay cool. Then i asked about sides bc they werent on that menu then, she pointed to big chalk board. Okay great maybe im blind. Or its not strategically placed in a persons line of vision when they walk in and you are looking at the bar and behind the bar. And she also failed to mention the prices on the paper menu were not accurate. It also looks like prices have gone up since someone posted a picture of the huge chalk board on here just 2 months ago. I get it prices are going up and up and thats fine im totally fine with paying for great food. So on to the food.. the cole slaw had absolutely 0 flavor. Salt would be nice. The pork was okay but better with the pineapple bourbon sauce on it. And the brisket was delicious but dang cut off some of the fat before you serve up a 1/4 pound of brisket thats half fat! I also felt like the sides were kind of small. And finally they charge you for using a CC vs cash which is one more thing the poor girl at the counter failed to mention. I would have paid cash. I have never been here before and unfortunately i wouldnt eat here again.

Been going here since before it's moving to their new location a few blocks west up Jefferson Highway. Always delicious meats. And they have vastly improved their side items quality and taste since our last visit. My wife and I got The Duke. We didn't even need the variety of sauces provided, but used them anyway because they were delicious. Definitely will be returning and spreading the word.

Arguably the best BBQ in the NOLA metro area. It is on par with delicious Texas style smoked meat. Additionally, Steve and Maureen are incredible owners. They are always there, greet you with smiles and go the extra mile to wait on you hand and foot. This is easily top 5 establishments in NOLA for ultra premium cooked meat. The beef rib is worth the trip on a Saturday. A meal worthy for a king.

The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and patient while I perused their menu. (It was my 1st time there) And the food can be described with one word...AWESOME!! Best baked beans I ever had, smoked ribs that didn't need sauce, but w/sauce...AMAZING! Hands down, this restaurant has the best barbecue I have ever had!! I highly recommend SMOKED Restaurant.

Upon our 1st visit i order 2 meat plate ribs & brisket & my boyfriend ordered pulled pork sandwich. He said he'd go back for second visit but prefers less fatty moisture with pulled pork & more of a drier meat with more moisture from BBQ sauce. He's a very picky eater but was satisfied. I must say.. I ate my 2 meat plate all with a spoon, ribs & brisket was so tender! There is certainly not enough reckonition of the Brussel sprouts side.. delicious enough I want the recipe😋. Beans, mac & cheese were tasteful also. Only thing is I wish more BBQ sauce came with order. Leaves you wanting more🙂. Honestly I haven't found a brisket so tender since I lived in Texas. It's a blessing to have such a place local. We'll be back!
