My daughter who's 11 brought me here because she loved it. I hadn't had sushi before, never planned to ever, but this place changed my mind. The food is incredible as is the service.
I have enjoyed my nori sushi experience. Overall good service and the food has been above.average to exceptional for a suberb price. I recommend the pokie salad to start off with!
Consistently great sushi and lovely service. Fresh, delicately seasoned, lots of options. TOTALLY Worth the few extra dollars you will spend here. I’m a picky sushi eater and I have enjoyed my meal and experience here every time. I have dined in several times now. Will definitely be back.
What a cozy little spot on 82nd Ave in SE Portland. Good sized menu and Sake selection is always a plus. Service✅, Food ✅, Atmosphere✅. Mahalo Nori Sushi 🤙🏽
We tried several places that make sushi in the area and I was always thinking: why there is not something comparable to Masu and Bamboo? And then I found Nori. Not the same but the best I found so far in the area.. Fish is fresh, avocado is green and it seems way more authentic than the ones that just cover everything with mayo sauces . We only did take out and when my husband goes to pick it up he always comments on how nice everybody is . The quality of the sushi is worth the cost, sushi is not something I would personally try to save money on.
Edit: last time we ordered sushi there the quality was definitely worse. The roll that was fried was in the same box with the raw fish rolls and the salmon was absolutely not the "melt in your mouth "kind of , it was hard and I had to make an effort to eat a few pieces , many pieces with gray avocado.. considering the money I spent for it this is my last time here.
The food here really hit the spot. Came here two nights in a row and will come back when we’re in town again. The waitress is very nice and the prices were reasonable. Five stars, would recommend to a friend.
This is a very cute little date night place. V was such a great server and Able did a wonderful job with our sushi. Never disappointing, always fresh, even early in the week!
I always get the strawberry lemonade and he always gets the Asahi because it goes so great with the pickled ginger, he says. Tempura Crunch Roll is often in the rotation but we've enjoyed every one so far. Nigiri is awesome. Easy to get to, good location. Love them!

A tad speedy but mostly worth the cost
We found this Sushi place in Happy Valley, I didn’t know that there’s a sushi place close to Clackamas Town Center Mall, anyway the restaurant was small but inside looks fancy and relaxing. Foods were great I tried their calamari, baked mussels and baked dungeness crab sushi.
This place is always awesome. Delicious rolls, yummy appetizers. I recommend 100%. This is my go to sushi in the Portland area. Everywhere is mediocre to terrible.
Came in to celebrate a birthday and the food was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and our food came out at a reasonable time. Come check out this spot whenever you're out in Clackamas. Love their seared salmon!
Everything was fresh and tasty. We loved the presentation. I especially loved how gluten free helpful our server was (she was fantastic all around). We're so glad we picked Nori for dinner.
