Hanover Tavern

Went for 'Burger Night' tonight and enjoyed. A little disappointed that only one burger was included in the special (not the one I ordered, which was the Tavern burger). I was most impressed with the social distancing. The tables are very well spaced apart. Staff was super friendly. We will def go back, maybe on Blue Plate Specials Night (Thursdays).

Hanover Tavern is a very special place. With its rich history, highly professional staff, and great southern food, this is a place for all. I had my wedding (ceremony and reception) at Hanover Tavern in October, and it was the most perfect day. Working with Tammy was an absolute delight. In both planning and execution, Tammy was on top of everything and accommodated my every request as well as made sure the wedding flowed seamlessly. I highly recommend getting married in the Coach House to any venue shoppers. It's gorgeous and spacious inside, and is comfortable for all. Thank you Tammy for putting together the best day of my life!! We can't wait to come back for many more visits and dinners.

Beautiful historic venue with top notch professional staff. Tammy and Diane and the rest of the staff were amazing. I had my girlfriend's birthday party there and it went off without a hitch. The Tavern is very accommodating and will work with you. I was able to have a casino come in to do a casino night. The rooms were set up perfectly and the staff was always willing to pitch in, especially with decorations. I rented out the Taylor room, the pub and the theatre room. It's great they have onsite catering, the drinks and food were great. They have an extensive menu to choose from. I definitely strongly recommend the fried chicken, many of my guests raved about it. And if you are having a big party, their coach house is absolutely stunning and will fit whatever your needs are.

The staff was amazing to work with! They were super friendly and ensured that we felt safe during COVID-19. We hosted our baby shower here and the venue was absolutely beautiful for our Safari theme. Tammy Anderson was amazing to work with! She always responded right away and worked with us with our many changes. I highly recommend them for your next event.

Hanover Tavern has a special place in my heart. I proposed to my wife here. I celebrated my dad's life here after he passed. I even worked here for a bit. The grounds and buildings are beautiful and filled with history. We stopped here after not eating out for months and enjoyed a meal. Great to get out again, thanks for having us!

My husband and I were married at Hanover Tavern in November of 2020. It was the most wonderful experience. Getting married during 2020 was a rollercoaster, but Tammy and team were there with us the whole way. Due to mandatory state restrictions our plans changed several times. We had a beautiful wedding in the coach house. After the wedding we had so many compliments on our livestream on how beautiful the venue was. Several people came up to me at/after the wedding commenting on the staff and the food. Our day was perfect and we are so thankful to Hanover Tavern and Tammy for being a part of our perfect day.
