A small take out restaurant that serves some of the best regional sandwich foods. My wife and I ordered the crab roll and the clam roll. Both were out of this world delicious. If your in or near the Ellsworth/ Franklin Maine area this is a must stop and eat place. The crab, lobster, and class are fresh daily. Keep in mind tho that they are only open seasonally so check thier hours. There is outside seating and as long as they are behaved, is dog friendly.
We came to find this place at around 7 pm for a late dinner. It says it's open til around 9 pm, which is nice. Most other places were already closed. There were quite a few people there for dinner! They made the food quickly and had a lot of options. We got the shrimp basket-which came around 12 to 15 pieces of shrimp, fries, coleslaw, and a roll. My husband got the crab roll with fries and coleslaw. It was fairly priced around 15ish dollars a plate. Which seems fair compared to other places in the area. The food came out burning hot, and the shrimp was fantastic! We got full and couldn't finish our meal so we drove home and ate it later. Would recommend this place if you are looking for fast take out food.
Great little take-out place. Right on US1, they have a smallish sized screen room with outdoor deck for those who would like to stay and eat.
It’s listed an Google as a seafood place, but they have a lot more. They also have Korean dishes, a selection of American foods, ice cream…..and the best prices on seafood around. And it’s NOT previously frozen. Most seafood places that have good prices serve previously frozen crab, lobster etc, but here it’s fresh fresh fresh!
Nice take n go restaurant. They were all out of lobster, but didn’t let us down. We ordered the crab rolls and they were great. Would definitely be back!
We landed at this place on our way to Winter Harbor. We ordered 4 crab rolls for our family of 4 and it was plenty of food and pretty tasty. Not 5 star worthy in my opinion, but a solid 3.5-4 and for the price of roughly $11 a roll, that’s not bad!
We had the lobster roll/ crab roll conbo and both were tasty and fresh. It came with chips and cole slaw which I didn't really like, very bland. I like my cole slaw sweeter. We wanted lobster rolls and just happened to drive past so we turned around and decided to eat here. There was a steady flow of people coming and going, luckily it wasn't too bad when we arrived around 145 on a Sunday. We had the fried dumplings also which were delicious.
Drive up takeout food. We ordered crabcakes which were fresh made to order. They were pretty tasty.
Best chowder around and delicious crab rolls all at reasonable prices.
Top notch 👌 road side stand. Loved the crab rolls and clam strips!
Freshest crabmeat in the state. Their bibimbap is out of this world!
