Tasty and sumptuous Hawaiian restaurant at very reasonable price. Particularly Lau Lau, chicken plate and Fish plates served with rice, Mac and cheese are worth mentioning. She has also customized for vegetable platter.
As the restaurant is a small one there's no air-conditioning and rest room

Bobbies is “my kind of place” on Kauai. Great food, great value, and Aloha to spare. I would recommend the beer battered Ono, and I always get some of their fried saimin (best on island). Get there early, pray…..PRAY!... that they still have some Lua Lau left, and take it down to Salt Pond Park to enjoy. Bobbie’s is simply Hawaiian soul food at it’s finest!

Hearty food, with many lunch plate options - chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, fish - something for everyone. My surf&turf platter (beef and batter fried ono) with saimin noodles was delicious. Great value for money

Don’t get fooled by the interior/exterior of the restaurant, we were here for the authentic Hawaiian food and it’s worth the trip! Their Lau Lau and Korean fried chicken are delicious!

Best place we have eaten on the island so far! Korean Chicken was amazing. Fried Saimen was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Real deal local flavor. We pulled up and saw construction workers and police officers waiting for their lunch, a telling sign of a local favorite. The fish, shrimp, chicken teriyaki/katsu and pork were all great. Mac salad was very good too. It is cash only but there is an ATM steps away. I also agree that we experienced a bit of a wait but you’re in Hawaii so who cares…

The teriyaki beef and mushrooms are excellent, the pork has strong smell, but the flavor is good. The price is reasonable, but there are a few notes if you go… cash only, waiting line for lunch, and waiting time is 10+ min at minimum. It’s a restaurant I may visit if I am near the area

We stopped by after hiking the Awa Awapuhi trail which was fairly exhausting and left us ready for a big lunch. Bobbie’s didn’t disappoint and left us with plenty of food. We ordered the #3 and #4 to try a variety of what they had to offer. My favorites were the Huli Chicken and fried fish. The Saimin was an unexpected tasty side dish. If you have the chance while visiting, it’s worth the drive.

YASSSSSS. So GOOD! The Korean fried chicken was so good and the tempura was amazing. Rice was cooked perfectly. We cleaned our plates. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Gotta try this place out :)
