Cascade Seaside Restaurant & Deck

We were up at Hampton Beach for the day and decided to give it a try. Hampton Beach itself was crowded and as we entered the restaurant the manager warned people that it was an hour wait for meals and if you yelled st his staff he was going to kick you out. Fair enough, since it was crowded. We made a joke about as long as we get drinks the wait wouldn't be a problem. Manager also said for us to not sit down at the table until the busboy told us (I'm guessing cleaning it down due to Covid), but the busboy never said anything to us and just walked away. Okay, so we sit down and are looking over the menu outside was pretty filled too and the waitresses were coming and going from those tables. One table had 2 waitresses helping them and the manager was over there chatting with them too. Meanwhile we waited an hour which we knew for the food, but in that hour not one waitress or the manager came over to chat take a drink order or to even update us on how long it would be before we were even acknowledged by anyone. We finally got up and left. We understood the wait, but when you are completely ignored by the staff for an hour and another table has 3 staff members catering to it, something isn't right or fair. They lost our service. I can't review the food because we were never acknowledged after sitting down and we never ordered.

My family and I ate at Cascade Seaside for the very first time. When we entered we were told to seat ourselves wherever we'd like. we chose to sit outside and listen to the music. First off, the manager came off like a tool. He was busy drinking booze, standing around yapping and minding everyones business. We sat there for about 20 minutes without anyone greeting us, and without offering us menus. When we were finally noticed, the waitress dropped off the menus and disappeared again. Keep in mind the restaurant was not very busy. When our food was finally ordered and served 45 minutes later, it was, to be generous, subpar. We were not given utensils or napkins until we requested them. Staff are not very attentive and seemed to be more concerned with the restaurants regulars and the music being played. I would not return to this establishment.

The ambiance was good. They had live music which was nice but I ordered a turkey club wrap and got a chicken burger. My friend ordered the fish and chips with coleslaw but never came with the fries. When we questioned the waitress the first time she wasn’t sure and then left but never came back till it was time to ask if we wanted anything else. When asked again she said the fish and CHIPS come with only fries OR coleslaw which sounds ridiculous since the plate is “fish and chips” we didn’t press further but were disappointed to spend $15 for just fish and coleslaw. The menu outside did not make the specification the waitress claimed. The food we did get was good. Service was not very good.
