My first time eating from this establishment. Upon first glance and smell it is extremely clean bright and cheery. Excellent customer service skills. The granddaughter was an excellent representation for their business. Currently eating Drunken Noodles w/tofu which is fresh full of flavor and just perfect.

We got drunken noodles and curry and were not pleased with either. 3/4 on their hotness scale and couldn't tell there was even spice. Green beans in the drunken noodles was odd and the curry had hardly any meat at all and was very watery. Have cooked better than this at home and there are better places in Portsmouth like Thai Basil that are far and above the taste here. Also took about 45 min to get food only an hour before close.

Called in to order for pick up. There were a lot of jokes about my name and how to spell it and senseless behavior. Being a good sport I laughed it off. Went to pick up was read back my order and paid. Called me by my last name and was given my order. Got home wrong order. Called back since I live close and was told that "your food is here" and "we called your name and no one said anything." Mind you I'm the only one in the tiny place. I order the same thing everything time so I thought this was a routine pickup. I get there and was told I would have to pay $17 for my food after paying $29 for the wrong order. If I was told that in the phone I would have never came back. What type of customer service is that? Then got the manager to assist. Kind you I'm polite the whole time.So you expect me to pay $46 for something that I don't eat and for you to correct the mistake. The cashier apologized and said she would pay for my food. She knew they were playing and being very unprofessional.Then tried to force me to take something that I didn't order which I should of because I paid for it but I left it there. Never heard of anything like that in my life! Not to mention I've been patronizing them for 3 years and the cashier is a former co worker of mine who I must say I understand why she made the mistake. All I wanted was basil fried rice with 2 egg rolls. THEN THEY PLAYED WITH MY FOOD AND BURNED MY RICE AND HAD BURNED EGGS THROUGHOUT IT WHICH NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!!!! Im disgusted about how they handled

Our family recently moved from Connecticut and was on the hunt for a Thai restaurant to accommodate multiple diet needs. So fortunate to have found this place. The vegan Pad Thai is the BEST I’ve ever had. Every dish ordered has been tasty and the dinner food portions are quite large for the $. Ya’s Thai kitchen atmosphere is friendly & cozy, the staff are lovely people. What a privilege to eat here, thank you! Tip, call ahead of time to see how long the wait is.

The best Thai food I've ever had and around 757, no debating! The owners and people there are very friendly and consistent. I get the red curry majority of the times or the pineapple fried rice. The vegetable eggrolls are very good with that special sauce they give with it. I have been in there every week since I started and I don't see that changing. *The only thing I don't like is that they are closed on the weekends. But quality has to be savored so its not a big deal 😅 ✅👍🏿
