Make no mistake this is primarily a takeout place. It is not fancy. I had the shrimp and the chicken gizzard with french fries. The shrimp were butterflied and the coating was quite good. There are not many places that serve chicken gizzards and the coating on these gizzards was also quite good. There is a small refrigerated counter with trays of food and ice but it's hard to tell what's in the trays. The prices were okay and the five-star rating is for the food only and has nothing to do with how the place looks. While I was there waiting for my food at least five other people came in for either telephone orders or ordered at the counter. There is a small table with chairs but I would not call this a restaurant and would only use the area as a waiting place for your food to take with you.

Never had or even heard of beef bugogi. Tried it for the first time and was not disappointed. It was absolutely delicious, although I wasn't a fan of the spicy kimchi. Will definitely recommend. You can buy fresh and cooked seafood and watch him cook it.

Best fried seafood ever. I ordered the "king seafood special" and it was delicious! I could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the oil used to fry them were clean. Everything was cooked to perfection and it was worth every penny!
As a side note, the owner used to be a pro-soccer player in Korea. Ironically, he never really liked seafood himself; It was actually his wife's dream to run the seafood restaurant. He is continuing to fulfill his wife's dream even after her passing. What a romantic chef, right? No wonder he is using only the fresh seafood and work diligently to keep up the good quality.
So much respect for the man, and really appreciate sharing the story with us.

Me and my mom favorite catfish dinner spot tried other places but this is my favorite number one spot big catfish yumm so good y’all never disappoint us

Got the shrimp and oysters combo (includes fries and hush puppies) which was way more food than expected. So much food the lid needed a rubber band to stay closed. Shrimp and oysters were great. Hush puppies were some of the best ive had but 3 hours later i found my left over hush puppy in a pool of its own oil. The place itself is not much to look at, but dont let it scare you off.

The crabs were very delicious. I think they make their own seasoning and it was good. The staff was very nice.

The food comes in a timely manner, the menu selection is thorough, and the fried whiting is some of the best i've ever had. The coating is light tempura - like batter, perfect for fish sandwiches. The prices are very reasonable, and the hush puppies are sweet and amazing - like a dessert in themselves. If you're in the mood for some delicious seafood - or have a hankering for some Korean food which I understand they also serve - you can't go wrong with this place.
