1st time stopping here to eat after passing it over 60 years of traveling to the Jersey shore...Now I wish we had made the stop many years sooner..Great food, cooked and served by great people! Very creative with their menu. Awesome way to start a vacation trip! Now we have a new favorite place to stop on our way to the shore!👍😎 🇺🇲

This place is great! The food is super delicious, and the owner is such a great host! They made Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes for our kids, which they loved. The grownups really enjoyed their meals too. Everything was really fresh, and the quality of ingredients were high. You can’t go wrong going here for breakfast (any time of day).

When you've been around long enough you hear people talk about their favorite little "hole in the wall" places to eat. This is definitely one of those places. There's only room for about 20 people to dine but I like those types of places. There's less chance of getting forgotten in the shuffle. The menu consists of a bunch of construction paper shapes hung all over the walls so it does take some time to read everything unless you've been there a few times to know what you like there. Service was a bit slow but you could tell the daughter was young & learning the ropes to join the family business but you add that to the fact that every order is made fresh on the spot & you are going to be waiting a while for your meals. That being said - I had the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Every bite was amazing & MORE than made up for the wait. The owner came out several times to chat with us. She was super sweet & personable. It reminded me of sitting in my family's kitchen on a Sunday morning chatting, eating breakfast & having coffee while catching up with the family. My biggest complaint about the place is its appearance. I don't know if it was actually dirty or because everything in it was so dated & didn't look fresh & bright that it made things look dirty. The men's bathroom door was blocked by a mop bucket & mop which was a good sign but still off-putting. All in all we had a great experience & breakfast & the owner is aces in our book. We will definitely be returning. Her cooking was phenomenal. I can see why she's been around for 30yrs

Just rude service, I know she is in the family but she is horrible. Not just one time....the last 3 times I have been there. Please hire an actual server. One that listens and does not talk about everyone after they leave. She messed of 2 out of the 4 orders and keeps blaming the pandemic...no it's you, you not a good server. I have worked customer service for 21 years through the pandemic and I would never treat people the way she does.

This used to be a good place to get decent food and friendly service. But now you can expect to wait 8 to 10 minutes for the owner / waitress to even notice that you are there. Another 8 to 10 for her to ask what you want to drink. Another 8 to 10 for her to bring the drink. Im guessing another 8 to 10 for her to take your order. I ran out of time, had to leave. All the while she is socializing with the people in the side dining room. Not like it was busy. Just me and one other person at the counter. And don't stop her to ask if you can please place your order or you will be schooled on "How things work around here".
