They give you so much for your money. My favorite meal is the half chicken white! The chicken is so juicy you would not believe it and the sides are so good. Service is usually pretty good but the food and the ice cream are really what set this little diner apart from others.

Stopped in while traveling and breakfast was so delicious! Best hash browns we have ever had. My husband who is a bit of a cook himself said it is hard to get them so perfect the way they do. Highly recommend, we all loved our food and the waitstaff.

I used to go here all the time but I moved farther away so I was unable to go. I went back today and it was still the same as I remember. Good fast clean and friendly. If passing thru or your a local stop by and give them a try.

I have good memories of going here with family members, and the food is made up of good tasting American staples done well. They do catering, and they can do family-style dining for large groups. The drive-thru dessert station is great and I stand by their German Chocolate flurry as being one of the best desserts around. The pictures from Hamilton's past are also a nice touch.

Very nice place. Casual. Good service. Variety of food... American food mostly. But Mexican, Pizza, which is really good. Reminds me of 1970s restaurant, but still good today.

So I’m not a review type person but I’m now working in the area. Tried hawks nest the other day for lunch. Fish basket was really good and lots of it. Tried the trestle stop the next day and was sorely disappointed (I reviewed them). Today I go back to hawks nest and get a burger. Wow what a good burger!! This will be my regular lunch stop I’m sure. PS the trestle stop has a cute waitress but the hawks nest has the cutest. All around a winning place.
