Four Twelve

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately we had a really bad experience. We went in on a Saturday morning at 9.50, hoping to be done around 10.25 to run to an appointment we had. The place was moderately busy, and we got our order taken around 9.55. Unfortunately, at 10.25, our lattes and waffle still weren't ready. When we asked about it, they realized they misplaced the order of the tickets, and they didn't even start making our order. Most people that walked in after us got their order before us. The baristas didn't apologize whatsoever. I can understand waiting 20/30 minutes for a waffle, but waiting that long just for a latte is crazy. Our order was finally ready around 10.35, and we ended up being late to our appointment. The two lattes were good, but the waffle was not. I truly understand how busy businesses are at this time, and mistakes happen. But, the fact that the employees were completely unapologetic makes me want to never set foot in this coffee shop again. The waiting time really doesn't justify paying over 20$ for two lattes and a waffle.

This is one of the finest coffee houses I have set foot in! So clean and nicely done. The drinks are fantastic, the waffle sandwiches are genius and beyond delicious. Try the sausage, egg and cheese with real maple syrup. Save the extra syrup and dump it in your latte! The staff are wonderful! A really great place for the community! I hope it does very well and is enjoyed by all!

EDIT: this review is from over 4 years ago, but I was looking at my old reviews and had to edit something out of this one so it's showing as if I just posted this lol I recently visited on a "sister date" before my sister gets married this weekend. I live a few hours away, and soon so will she, so it was exciting to have the chance for all five of us to go out and just hang with each other for a while. The café was perfect! There was a big table in the back where we all could sit together and talk with semi-privacy. The baristas were more than nice, though I know we were rowdy while talking at the table and before that took forever to order, crowded around the counter and asking questions. One of the ladies even came out and asked to take our dirty dishes for us. Another offered to help us take a picture (and took a great one). The food was awesome, too. I'll definitely keep the café in mind for future visits!
