Hartles Subs

I've been going to this place for the past three years. I pop in a couple of times a week. I only eat a half a sub at a time so I get 4 lunches out of two whole subs. I've never ever been disappointed with their food. When I order online and stop in to pick up my order they see me and hand me my order without making me wait (because there's usually a queue). The place could certainly do with a bit of a makeover but I guess the owner isn't too bothered. The food and the staff especially the short woman and bloke with glasses are fantastic (I don't know their names but they know mine). Here's what I got today. One chicken salad and one tuna salad. Sorry for the condensation inside the box, I pulled it out of the fridge for a quick photo. Just look at the food! You'll never get a sub like this from any franchise place.

The subs are pretty good, but if you ask for onions, you might want to ask for a side of sub to go with it, because they will load them on! The fries tasted like dirty fryer grease, the crab soup had little to no crab meat in it and the crackers were stale. There were only 2 people working during lunch hour which slowed things down a bit. Also, unless you are paying cash, be prepared for them to tack on extra fees for paying with a card. This place has unfortunately gone downhill over the years.

Paid a lot for my subs added bacon and didnt get it. Had turkey and provilone got charge extra for provolone. Also got charged extra for swiss. Got charged a service fee for using a card which shouldnt be on customers considering sub prices. Said something and the ladie started argueing with me. Requestes to talk to owner and called and he did the same thi g very poor customer service very argumentative and food was not good after that experience. Ill mever eat there again poor buisness ethics.
