Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant

Not too good. We used to eat here a lot, but it's been going down hill and I don't think we'll be going back anytime soon. The first thing I noticed this time was that the floor was incredibly slick. Like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I'm surprised nobody fell. After that, the tables were dirty and, as you can see in the picture, they obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. I hate to think about how dirty the places you can't see are... The service was OK. The food was OK. But neither were anything special. 2 out of 3 orders were wrong. The wrong meat in one order and no meat in another. There are other, better, options in town so we'll be eating there.

First of all, my husband and I were just a few seconds after walking through the door. We were asked if we would like inside or outside seating and was escorted to our inside seating booth. Chips and salsa were brought to the table within 30 seconds and without us asking and our server came to take our drink order within 2 minutes. We were not ready to place our food order so she gave us some time and when she returned with our drinks we placed our order. The restaurant was busy, but not overwhelmed and our food was very good. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The only downside was our server took a while to return to our table to see if we needed anything and to bring us our check. The bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been and the women’s bathroom needed restocking of toilet paper in the dispensers. Other than that, we had a really good experience and would recommend and we will be returning.

We ordered online on our way home from Frederick. We were able to select a time to pick up our order. We got there 5 minutes early and it was ready. We got a taco salad with beef, and had some special instructions for the taco salad which were done perfectly and Texas burrito which had steak chicken and shrimp bell peppers onions and tomatoes and rice with a cheese sauce over the top. Both of our meals were very good. We would highly recommend this local place for Mexican food the prices were reasonable. Light the online ordering and ability to put special instructions for each dish. You are also able to select a different day and time so you can order ahead. This is another local restaurant that can use all of our support to keep them going. Thank you for a wonderful meal that I did not have to cook.
