The most serendipitous experience EVER!! We were driving to Connecticut and we were starving. We came across this delightful place and were so impressed by the fresh bread, cakes, pretzels, chicken salad, fresh deli... You name it, they had it. We sat in the car and had a delicious feast, before hitting the road again. Great food and great service. When in NJ please check them out!!

You need rolls for a special occasion, or just for dinner? This is the place to go. Order ahead for holidays to beat the rush. If you're in luck, you may see the rolls come down on the belt, hot out of the oven. Bet you can't get all the way home without reaching in the bag and eat one (or two depending on the distance...lol!)

This is a place that is SPECIAL! Fresh rolls hot off the bakery belt, it doesn’t get any better. But with the addition of baked goods & “Carmen’s” deli right inside, it got fantastic! Go here! Just go. You might see ppl with a stick of butter in their car eating these rolls right out of the bag! & that’s a thing.

I know it's a local institution, and I'd like to give it more than two stars, but it's gone downhill since Tom took over. Bread rolls are still okay, but nothing else. All other (outsourced) baked goods are mediocre at best and way overpriced, often stale too. And recent price increase has made a hoagie $12, and that's now unrealistic. I'm not paying that for a roll with a few slices of meat/cheese, tomato, lettuce, etc. Also, the place is cramped with displays and shelving all over the place -- like some kind of in-your-face marketing. Workers also don't seem very happy. That leaves me with no real reason to go there. Sorry.
