Frank's Pizza

Frank's in Budd Lake is nestled behind Burger King off Rte 46 & Naughright Rd, but is worth the trip into this empty strip mall. I was greeted warmly and immediately and I was asked how hot I wanted my slice - a RARE touch of customer service. When my 'warm but not too hot' slice came out, the temp was just right! The crust was NYC thin and crispy, but not floppy! Haven't found that in NJ very much - well done. The sauce had a nice flavor to it, but it didn't speak to me immediately. There could have been more cheese, but it had a good consistency and let the sauce come thru. The pepperoni was clearly fresh, though not as spicy as I like it - but I could add to it with the wide array of spices available! A good slice with strong service and the ability to make it as flavorful as you like.

I was there , and the guy that was serving the pizza do not wear any gloves, he was touching his face and nose, also touching money and machines on the counter, then handling pizza.....I talk to the owner and He said the oven is too hot for gloves, I suggested to him that they can use a very long spoon for the oven , because I have seen it some other places but He just said "No" . Is not hygienic at all.....very disgusting seeing the other guy touching his face and nose , then handle my pizza.....I lost appetite immediately.

I ordered a pretty simple order at 330 in afternoon. 3 items. 1 tirimaso, and 2 molten lava cakes for after dinner on valentines day for my hubby who loves them. I got my tirimaso but they gave 2 different than ordered. They prob didnt want to make it. To make matters worse it was just thrown in a plastic bag not even bagged properly , for a resturant. They couldn't be bothered to give courtesy napkins or disposable forks. I should of gone with my instint and ordered them from dominoes. As a mcdonalds worker we strive to put all our customers first. I think we really know whose number 1. Please don't be in a rush next time. Signed, disappointed
