Depending on how well you know ice cream, Scoops & Kettle is a real treat in the mall. Never had the popcorn here which I heard is yummy but Chocolate Shoppe is superior quality ice cream.
From the neighboring state of WI, if you've never tried S&K then you're in for some wonderful ice cream being Chocolate Shoppe is the best from America's dairy land.
Definitely not cheap with food prices rising nationwide but my kids are well worth it. In any ice cream shop you'll ever visit, as soon as you see the CS emblem then you know you gotta go for it.
Located in Gurnee Mills, this ice cream is easy competition against a couple of other high end ice cream parlors in Gurnee: Oberweis and Coldstone.
If ever in the mall and in the mood for some deelish ice cream, S&K is a must. Better yet if you're in the mood for a cold treat and don't plan on browsing the mall, still worth the stop in.

Great selection from modern to nostalgic candies. Fun finds, fun merchandise and great customer service. One of my favorite candy company stores.
We found this store at gurnee mall which is awsome shopping mall for to hang out in cold chilling winter days with families and friends. Pluse this stores ice cream and other cold beverages really yummy and unique.
Second place that I know of that sell my favorite ice cream flavor that is in an parlor Banana cream pie.

A very interesting place! The popcorn was delicious, they (wonderful young men and women) give samples, the ice cream is locally-made and uses Dairy from local dairy farms. Management is extremely informative about their product and will discuss any question about their store that you desire to ask.

Nice little place. Had 2 flavors of Italian ice that were vegan/dairy free. Clean, and even when we came 5 minutes before close, the girl was nice and helpful.

I was looking for a Jamocha Almond Fudge...they didn't have...but enjoyed an Expresso Ice Cream Cone....so I got another the next day. 2 Back to Back Great decisions
